A sweet, salty and cheesy dip made with feta cheese and honey with a hint of pepper!
Dips are wonderful! If you have followed my old blog you would know how much I love them. Dips are great because they can flavor any variety of food - chips/nachos/pita/baby carrots and what not. They are exactly what I look for when I host parties at home as they are so easy to make. They often require very less ingredients and little prep work.
I came across this recipe from here . I just tweaked it a bit as per my liking. Serving cheese with honey is common in many mediterranean countries. Feta cheese is considered as one of the well known and oldest cheeses in the world. This is such a simple recipe that can be made in less than five minutes. If you like the flavor of feta, you will like this one.
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature to ensure it blends well with other ingredients. I had alot of tortillas at home, so I cut them and sprayed some oil; baked it in the oven until they turned crispy. They were perfect with the dip. I also enjoyed this dip on a toast the next day. If you like anything sweet & salty do try this one. Serve them with tortilla chips/ pita bread and let everyone dig in!
